Diaper Cake

I am helping with a baby shower that is next week.  It is a "Diaper Shower" because the girl we are having it for will have two kids in diapers, we all know how expensive that can be, and she already has enough clothes for the baby.  I had fun decorating this diaper cake for the shower.

We started swim lessons last week, a thing I never did growing up.  I had no idea how much fun it is for the kids and even enjoyable to watch.  It seems to rain every afternoon here, so it is not worth paying to go for a whole day.  The lessons make it so the girls get swim time and then we can go home and do other stuff.  I signed them up for two sessions in a row, four weeks of lessons, almost everyday.  Which I think might be a little to much.  I guess I will learn for next year.  But for now we will enjoy the time we have left.  I don't even want to think about school starting in less than a month.

Soooo Excited!!!

Today while I was at Borders Book Store I saw that the last book in the Twilight Series is coming out August 2nd!!!!  They are having a party at midnight with all sorts of contest, like who is the best vampire.  I think I have to skip it... my bedtime is a little earlier.  But I do have my book reserved.  I know I have joined the nerd club but it is so fun to have a great book to read! 

Art Project

I am not much of a artist and not very crafty, but I saw this idea on Etsy and decided it would be fun to try.  I thought if turned out cute for the girls room... this wall has been driving me nuts.  I know it is far from perfect but I had to show it since I don't make stuff very often.

My fabulous sister-in-law took these pictures while we were in Utah.  I just love her style!  So I had to share a few.

4th of July in Breckenridge

Oh, how I love Breckenridge!  There is just something about being in a

 little resort town way up in the mountains.  

We stayed there for two nights in a condo with Spencer's brother and his family.  

It was great to see my girls making such good memories with their cousins.  After staying   

there they were able to come to our home for a night and see Garden of the Gods before they

 headed back to Utah.  Tyler and Kristen thanks for a great trip!

Countdown to The Dark Knight!

                                            

Only 18 days until The Dark Knight comes to theaters!  I know it is a little weird that I am such a fan.  I never liked any of the other Batman movies.  If fact, I hated them. But when I saw Batman Begins, I really enjoyed it!  I am a little nervous of this one being too dark... it is in the name.  But I can't wait!!!
