for our first time.
It was cool to see the Gingerbread exhibit
they have going on right now.
It has been a fabulous two weeks
relaxing with our family.
Christmas morning 2010!
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas,
only one day left until 2011.

Buyers Beware or Just Spencer

Spencer wanted to show his
holiday spirit
this year by finding a festive sweater and
wear it to all the holidays parties.
He got onto ebay
and looked up MENS Christmas sweaters.
I guess Spencer Fullmer liked the idea too,
so they both started bidding for the
most festive MENS sweaters they could find.
Well.... Spencer Fullmer was so lucky
he got two sweaters.
Which I am sure, made his wife very happy
to be spending money on such great things.
The only problem was when the sweaters came
they were far from MENS sizes
and even came still smelling like women's perfume;
the fact they have bows on them,
anyone could see
they are not MENS sweaters.
The tags had been conveniently removed,
I was unable to truly prove my point.
They decided to wear them anyway.
Spencer, Spencer, & Will @ the Ednodontic Christmas Party.
Oh, Will was a good sport because his was the worst.
Sorry Will!
It was even stretched out all
weird in the lower front.

At the Church Christmas party
the girls got to be angels in the program
and loved getting to dress-up.
There were some darling outfits
parents had come up with.
I warned the Spencers that he might look like a couple
when showing up wearing the same thing.

Hopefully this will be the first and last year
Spencer shows his holiday sprit
wearing a festive sweater, or womens sweater!

Visit to Christmas Traditions

In Historic St. Charles, Missouri
it becomes quite magical this time a year
with what is called Christmas Traditions.
While visiting the enchanted place,
they have Victorian Carolers, Storybook Characters,
& Santas from around the world.
Each character gives out his/her trading card,
we collected 18 out of the 33
while we were there.

It was such a great way to start the
Christmas Season.

O-H-I-O

I went to my one football game
of the season on Saturday.
It turned out to be a very exciting game
against Penn State.
.
One home game left and
we will be in St. Louis to watch it.
Though we did get a pretty penny selling the tickets.
Go Buckeyes!!!

Thanks for six great seasons we could
Enjoy being called students,
And the cheap tickets to go with it!

Leed's Farm

Saturday was the
perfect FALL day to be outside,
I am glad it was the day we had
planned to go Leed's Farm.
I had been looking forward
to going again since last year.
Here is a fun way to compare how kids grow each year.
It is pretty shocking to see how
Avery have shot up this past year.

RAMBLINGS

At 6:10 this morning Tyler, Spencer's brother, flew home.
He came out this weekend for his fifth and sadly last
Ohio State game, while we live here.
That makes five out of
the seven football seasons
we have lived here. What a great brother!
We are down to our final year here
at the great C-BUS,
So everything is "our last"
which gives me a range of emotions...
This is what prompted me to blog tonight.
For all the moments that I think about
never blogging again, which happens a lot,
I remind myself this is the only kind
of journal I have and I can't give it up.
Here is a few random things of late, so I feel "caught up" with my blog.
Hot dogs & smores's
with Tyler & Fullmer family, it seems I like to blog
everything we do with the Fullmer's.

I love trying new places,
so when some friends had a groupon to try out
"The Bang" a piano bar, we were in.
Two piano players go back and forth singing & playing all types of songs.

My girls got to feel what it was like to be a cheerleader for high school
after two mini clinics and
cheering for a quarter of high school game.
It was a big crowd and Avery looked terrified the whole time,
though I think they both loved it.

Let FALL begin!

Fall is officially here,
or so Kayla's teacher told her so.
And as a listen to the sweet sound of my
air conditioner blowing cold air
once again;
it was broken since yesterday.
I have so be honest and say,
I am READY for the cooler days of Fall.

We got the football season started by
going BUCKEYE hunting over labor day
with the Fullmers.
Living here for 5 years and yet
this was my first time actually seeing
the buckeye nut
in nature.
As seen in the next picture,
Evan wearing the final product of are hard labor.
We had fun having Will, Jeff, & the Fullmer family
come watch the game with us.
I wish I could tell you which game,
but I can't... shows how much I really pay attention.
As I said last year,
One of my favorite things about living
here in the C-bus during football season,
is meeting up with old friends
who come to town for a game.
The Manning & Jarivis families came out
for a game over Sept. 11th
I met up the Kortney & Brooke
at the Morgan House, for lunch.
And then had them over to dinner on Sunday.
Though it has been four years since
we lived by eachother, it was just like old times.
Brooke & Kortney

Thanks for the good times guys.

family pic's

Well my summer officially ended Tuesday,
I have started working "full time"
from my house watching three amazing
little boys, which happen to live next to me.
It was a busy & fun summer
but I love getting back into
a great routine.

The girls start school Tuesday...
I can't believe Kayla will be in third grade.
I remember third grade so well,
it just doesn't seem possible to have
a daughter that old.

I was GIDDY with JOY,
this past week when I received a package
in the mail, containing a CD with our family pic's.
Now I have to figure out which ones to put on the wall.
Here are a few...
Thanks again Kara!!!!!!

I'm a BARBIE girl...

It has been a solid three day of fashion shows
& singing
"I'm a BARBIE girl in a BARBIE world,"
in our house
after taking a day trip to
Indianapolis
(After Evan kept singing it, Spence
taught him to sing "I'm a man" instead.)
to visit the BARBIE exibit
at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
A special thanks to the Fullmer family for letting us tag a long.
I got to relive my childhood seeing all the BARBIES
I LOVED to play with.
My personal favortie... BARBIE & The Rockers.
Kayla, Avery, & Isabelle
even got to be part of a
BARBIE Fashion Show,
which they do once a day there.

Though the boys weren't nearly as excited
as us girls,
we found plenty of other fun stuff to keep
them happy too.

Clipper Game

Have you ever noticed when you get free tickets
to something, you seem to justify spending
money on things you never would have.
Like 4 bucks for cotton candy.
It's all good, cause you didn't
have to pay for the tickets.
We did get some great seats to a Clippers game
last Thursday. Spence happen to do a
root canal on the pitcher from the visiting team.
He was such a nice guy... he gave us five
tickets to come watch him.
I think we ate everything on the menu
to get us through 8 of the innings.
It was a fun night.

So Long Thumb... Hello EARINGS

Avery was born
with her thumb in her mouth.
She has had that thumb in her mouth
probably half her life.
So when I told her if she stopped sucking
her thumb she could get her
ears pierced,
(instead of waited until she is eight)
I thought it would never happen.
*Note the pillow & blanket in most of the pic's*
If anyone would prove me wrong
it would be this determined little lady.
After cutting underneath her tongue pretty bad,
she had a hard time sucking without it hurting.
She decided to put away her
pillow & blanket,
(her other half since she was tiny)
&
stop sucking her thumb.
After a solid week,
even checking her in the night,
she has not sucked her thumb.
We went tonight & got her ears pierced!!!

Kayla checked the calendar when we
got home & figured out
Avery will be able to
change her earrings on her
6th birthday...
I can guess what she will be wanting.
