Here's the Belly!

I realized the other day that I do not have one picture of my belly with this pregnancy, with Kayla I took one monthly, with Avery I took at least four. Here I am with baby three, and figured I need one.... maybe two. I guess taking pictures of me getting bigger doesn't thrill me like it use to. I know once I have him though, I will be happy to have what I looked like pregnant.

Dentist Daddy

February was Children's Dental Health Month, so Spencer was asked to give a little presentation for Kayla's Kindergarten class.  It was so fun to see the kids get so excited about the lesson he taught.  Kayla was so proud of her Dad.  She even got to have lunch with him after it was over.

Skate City

Be careful what you ask for...  After asking Kayla on Friday night what she wanted to do on Saturday she exclaimed, "Go to Skate City!"  She had been there once before for a birthday party.  The next day she kept reminding me that I had asked her what she wanted to do and she was not going to let me forget.  So Spencer dusted off his rollerblades packed the girls skates they got for Christmas and we were off to Skate City.  Being seven months pregnant the only thing I was good for (besides a coat rack) was taking pictures and cheering them on.  Spence got quite the workout try to keep both girls from crashing.

My Hubby & I

On Valentines Day I got tagged on info. about Spencer & I. It once again reminded me just how wonderful my hubby is and how much he does for our family. I can't believe we have been married for almost eight years!
Thanks for all you do, Spencer! I love you!

Full name:
Spencer Jay Elmore

How long have you been married: 8 years on May 12th

How long did we date: One year to the day we got married

Who said I love you first: if "I think I am falling in love with you" counts it was Spencer

Who sings better: Ya, I would say neither of us sing very well, maybe Spencer

Who's smarter: Spencer (I could never go to Dental School)

Who does the laundry: Me & once in a great while Spencer will throw in a batch if I start to get behind.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: Spencer

Who mows the lawn: Spencer, and did a great job reviving our lawn in Ohio. By the time we left it looked soooo much better.

Who cooks dinner: I have to admit Spencer is better at whipping up a great meal in no time. I have to have it planned ahead of time.

Who drives: Spencer (I have always enjoyed being a passenger more than a driver)

Who's more stubborn: Me, but I think I have improved over the years.

Who kissed who first: I think it was a mutual moment

Who asked who out first: I think I made it a little too easy on Spencer. After talking to him for over an hour I asked him when he was going to ask me out.

Who proposed: Spencer (on Valentines Day 2000)

Who has more siblings: Spencer is the youngest of six, I am the youngest of five. Yes we are both the babies of our families and it has been great.

Who wear the pants of the family: I think it is pretty mutual, but any big decisions I happily hand it over to Spencer.

I tag: Mariel, Jamie, Jenny McDermott, & Kortney...enjoy if you choose to!

HAPPY VALENTINES!

Avery got to go to Kayla's Valentine party at school today.  She was so excited, she would not leave Kayla's side the whole time there.  It was nice to see them get along for longer than five minutes.       When we got back Avery actually asked to take a nap in her bed.   I had to take a picture since that has never happened before.

Gymnastics!

After months of Kayla asking, we finally got her and Avery signed up for gymnastics. The week before the session started she would ask everyday, " how many more days until gymnastics? " The day she started she was gleaming with joy. Lets hope it continues through the eight weeks she is signed up for.
We were so proud of Avery in her first class. As we watched from the window, a girl from her class kept pushing her and almost bit her and she did not fight back! That is huge for my little Avery who is known to leave a mark or two if you make her mad. I introduced her to the girl after class and told her she is now her "friend", hopefully we will not have any further problems. I have to admit how much I loved watching my girls in their classes, reliving my gymnastic days. To bad the talent goes away as you age.
