Nine and half months...

I survived the highest of highs
& lowest of lows,
sometimes all in one day and today is my last day.
Today I will be done watching these three
boys that have become apart of our family.
Through this experience I have:
learned more patience,
relaxed about my house being messy,
become the Queen of pooh & pee,
learned how to choose when to listen
& when not too,
to really enjoy time to myself when I have it.
But mostly through this experience
I have felt my heart grow...
But I know this for sure,
three kids is a perfect number for me!

Easter Bunny

When Avery was around two,
I remember having to avoid the Easter Bunny
at the mall at all cost.
She was so terrified of the Easter Bunny
she would start to shake & cry just to see him.
She has since gotten over her fear.
But to be honest, I never really blamed her.
Don't you think the Easter Bunny is a little creepy looking?

Another persons trash...

Has become my treasures.
Two weeks ago while driving through neighborhoods
in Chesterfield, Missouri,
we drove past a house that caught my eye.
Well, their trash caught my eye.
I noticed an old suitcase, childrens rocking chair,
& two old window panes.
I made Spence turn around and I put them in our car.

I was shocked when I cleaned up the rocking chair
and nothing was even wrong with it.
The suitcase I decided to leave at my brother's house
until we move out there.
I couldn't wait to get home
& work on the two window panes.
I haven't done any projects for a looong time
& this one was really fun.

BEFORE:

AFTER:
I painted a tree on the back side of the glass, covered it with material,
& then just screwed in some hooks.
The whole project cost me less then 10 bucks.
And it looks so cute in my girls room.
Now I just have to finish the second one.
